ABOUT CAPTAIN RICKY

Being from San Mateo, Florida, Ricky has been fishing the Atlantic waters off northeast Florida since childhood. Captain Ricky keeps the “Rock Bottom” in fish-ready condition and is prepared with rigs, gear and bait for whatever you might encounter on your trip.

When the fish are biting, Captain Ricky is in GO mode, helping you catch as many as possible. Ricky is a dedicated captain who places the safety of his clients above all else. Your trip is sure to be one you won’t soon forget.

Our fishing vessel is equipped with Twin motors for maximum safety

Fishing Gear, Tackle & Bait

All fishing equipment including bait & tackle necessary for your trip is included and ready to use

Radar & GPS tracking

Our vessel is equipped with both a Furuno radar system for real-time weather and vessel monitoring and a GPS tracking system

VHF Radio

VHF radio for long distance communication with other vessels including quick contact with Coast Guard, if needed.

WHAT TO BRING

sunblock
hat
sun glasses
jacket – waterproof is preferable (in case it gets windy or rainy)
drinks, food & snacks (we supply the cooler and ice to keep it cold)
motion sickness medication
bags or cooler to carry your catch home!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The weather can change quickly. Be prepared by bringing a weatherproof jacket, hat, sunglasses, motion sickness medicine and sunblock.
