Whether you’re chasing the thrill of offshore fishing St. Augustine in the deep Atlantic or enjoying a nearshore run, our charters are perfect for both seasoned anglers and first-time fishermen. Some folks call it deep sea fishing St. Augustine — we just call it a great time on the water!

SeaCo fishing charters aboard the Rock Bottom

Your trip kicks off at the beautiful Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor, where you’ll board our 31′ Contender center console fishing vessel, the Rock Bottom. She’s a fast, seaworthy machine, powered by twin Yamaha 300s, and fully equipped for offshore action with Furuno radar, sonar, and VHF radio. We stay dialed in to live fishing reports from other captains to track bait schools, temperature breaks, and target species — ensuring you’re in the best spot for an unforgettable catch.

What to Bring

While we’ve got you covered on gear, here’s a short list of what to bring for your offshore adventure:

  • Sunblock (please apply ~30 minutes before boarding; avoid spray-on sunscreen when possible)
  • Long-sleeve sun shirt and hat — Florida’s sun is no joke!
  • Sunglasses — polarized lenses help you see marine life below the surface
  • Light jacket — mornings can be cool; afternoon rainstorms are common
  • Drinks, snacks, and lunch (we provide coolers and ice)
  • Motion sickness medication (if needed)

Worried About Sea Sickness?

It’s a common concern, but a little preparation goes a long way:

  • Avoid heavy, greasy meals and alcohol the night before
  • Eat a light breakfast or bring snacks to test how you feel
  • Hold off on sugary or carbonated drinks until you’re comfortable offshore

Before Your Trip

Captain Ricky will personally contact you the day before your charter to review fishing reports, sea and wind conditions, and your target species — whether it’s Mahi Mahi fishing St. Augustine, Kingfish charters St. Augustine, or Tuna fishing trips St. Augustine. We’ll make sure all your questions are answered, so you’re ready for the best offshore fishing experience in St. Augustine.

If you are going out on long charters, be prepared to witness some amazing sunrises!
