Cheesy Baked Mahi

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs skinless fish filets
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1/4 C softened butter
  • 1/2 C parmesan cheese
  • 3 T mayo
  • 3 T chopped onions
  • optional: dash hot sauce

Instructions

Step 1

Place filets in baking dish. brush with lemon juice and let stand 10 minutes.

Step 2

Combine all remaining ingredients.  

Step 3

Broil fish on hi for 8 minutes or until fish flakes and is mostly cooked (this will vary by thickness of filets)

Step 4

Remove from heat and spread with cheese mixture.  Broil 3-5 minutes longer until browned.  Excellent served with rice and saute’d peppers or plain.  

Option

This is also great served on a toasted bun with melted cheddar cheese.
